How can I access my account online?

Returning users can access their account here.  First time users can click here to create their account. You will need enter your Security Code which is located on your Reliance bill.

 

How can I pay my Bill?

We provide several easy methods to pay your bill:

  • Pay Online: Log into your Reliance account and pay online using a Credit or Debit Card or eCheck. First time users will need to to create an online account by entering a Security Code which is located on your Reliance bill.

  • Pay by Mail: Make your check, money order, or cashier’s check payable to Reliance Utility Services, write your Resident ID on the check and mail to Reliance Utility Services, P.O. Box 4388, Charlottesville, VA 22905.

  • Pay by Phone: Have your bill available and call us at (844) 560-7420 to pay with a Credit or Debit Card or eCheck.

  • Auto Pay: When you enroll in Auto Pay, Reliance will automatically deduct your payment from your checking or savings account each month at no charge to you. Please note that it can take a full billing cycle for Auto Pay to take effect, so please pay your bill on time using another method until it is set up. Detailed instructions can be found here.

Please note that a $3 convenience fee will apply to all payments made with a Credit or Debit Card or eCheck.  All payments must be submitted by the posted due date.  A late charge will be applied for overdue balances and the non sufficient funds fee is $25.00.

 

How can I sign up for paperless eBills?

When you sign up for paperless eBills, we'll send you an email every month to let you know your Reliance bill is available to securely view and pay online.  Select one of these two options to sign up:

  1. Enroll Online: Sign into your Reliance account and select the link for the eBill option. Enter your email address for verification and press “send verification email.”

  2. Enroll by Phone: Call Reliance at (844) 560-7420 and request eBill paperless billing. Have your bill with Resident ID number available when you call.

***Important Final Step***
Once you have enrolled, you will receive an email from eBill@relianceutility.com that will require you to verify your email address.  By clicking on the link in the email and following the simple instructions you will confirm your enrollment.

 

How is the utility rate on my bill determined?

The utility rate is determined by the local municipality.

 

When will I receive my bill?

Generally you will receive a billing invoice via the US Postal Service or e-bill on a monthly basis.

 

Who do I notify if I am moving and would like a final bill?

You should notify your property management company with your final move out information and they will provide us the necessary information to send you a final bill.  You are expected pay all utility cost associated with your unit up to your lease expiration date.
